Smelling (Insta)Naturally Good! #essentialoils

Product provided for review.  All opinions are my own.

Hello, Fireflies!

My little world mostly consists of a small house with four dogs, so it isn't always the best smelling place to be.  InstaNatural Essential oils can help me turn that stank into a delightful smell - and so many other things, too!

Four ounces of lavender essential oil is a lot.  But, there's a lot you can do with it!   My favorite way to use  essential oil is in a diffuser.  I just want the whole place to smell nice. If you like making your own cleaning products or fragrance sprays, adding a few drops of lavender oil can change the scent.  You can add it to candle wax, potpourri, or satchets. Add a few drops to your favorite massage oil, to a linen spray, or your bathwater for a relaxing aromatherapy experience. I will often add a few drops to a bottle of acetone so that my nail polish remover smells nice.

 InstaNatural Essential Lavender Oil

This oil is extracted from the oil glands of the Lavendula Officinalis plant and steam-distilled to get just the pure oil.  There are no additives, and it's cruelty-free.  Because of the concentration, it should be diluted before using it - you don't want to put pure essential oil on your skin.

Probably my favorite essential oil is peppermint.  It's such an uplifting and energizing scent to me.  I love having the house smell like peppermint. In addition to all the same things like cleaners and fragrance sprays, peppermint is supposed to be a deterrent for spiders if you spray it in the corners of your house.  Even though you are supposed to dilute it, my husband and I will often dab a tiny bit under our noses when we are stuffed up.

 InstaNatural Essential Peppermint Oil

InstaNatural Essential Peppermint Oil has a sweet, minty aroma that comes from the Mentha Piperita herb.  The oil is extracted from either fresh or dried leaves, and steam-extracted for a 100% pure natural oil that is never tested on animals.
My nailart homage is based on the light and lively fragrance and packaging of InstaNatural's Peppermint Essential Oil.  I started with a base of Pretty & Polished Maleficium, a pale grey crelly with metallic flakies. I then layered chevron tips with Pretty & Polished They Call It Witchcraft, and Suspended In Dusk.

For more information, or to purchase, you can find Instanatural on their webpage, Facebook, Google+, and Twitter. You can also find them on Amazon, where both the Lavender and the Peppermint essential oils are on sale for $19.97.  If you're not completely happy with your purchase, InstaNatural backs their products with a 100% Satisfaction Guarantee, too.

Do you use essential oils?  What are your favorite scents and ways to use them?
